Timing can be everything!

Certain car engines with overhead camshafts have timing belts that have a limited life span.  Car manufacturers use timing belts instead of more durable timing chains to reduce noise within the engine, as well as to reduce cost.  The change interval for a vehicle's timing belt ranges from 60,000 miles to every 105,000 miles.  Some engines can be damaged severly if this belt breaks so be sure to ask your service advisor about the recommended change interval for your specific vehicle.
